GOD IS MOVING IN THE SUDAN
Here I am in Sudan after 5 days of visa delay. I finally made it, even though Satan didn't want me to come, (what can we say? He is defeated!)
Got here 2 days before Rolland left the first conference was over , so we spent a day praying for the sick around the refuge camp that was so much
fun. It was fun riding donkeys with Rolland. They are the main source of transportation here.
This place is a desert very dusty no trees, no grass and very dry, in many ways. I have been working in Moslem area in Mozambique but this is overwhelming here. Friday we had an outreach in the field it was good! We had problem with generator and sound system, it took a while to get started, it was announced that the meeting would start at 12:00 noon but people started to coming at 7:00 a.m. in the morning. They were bringing the sick to be healed, someone told me that many had traveled on their donkeys four or five days to get there. The meeting started at about 2:00 p.m. and our tent was completely filled with people who were waiting patiently. I preached the Gospel to them and spoke of the woman with the issue of blood. I was building their faith and challenging them to come to Jesus and receive their healing but just before that I asked who wants to receive Jesus. Everyone raised their hands without questioning, they were all dressed in Islamic clothes but they said we want Jesus!!! I asked them I said who is Jesus and every
one said YESUAH IS GOD, Yesuah is Jesus in Arabic. I led them to Jesus and moved to pray for the sick.
I prayed for a man who was suffering from bad back pain he even had a stick to support himself but after praying for him the pain was gone and he threw the stick away. Then everyone started to come for prayer and many came with many different kinds of sicknesses. Jesus touched them and the blind, the deaf, those with back and chest were healed. Those with knee, legs, and hand problem were also healed. A total of six deaf people were completely healed. One couple brought their daughter who was paralyzed for a long time to me and asked if I would pray for her. I asked Jesus to release the healing anointing on this girls body. I prayed for about 4-5 minutes and then I took her by the hand and made here stand and every one was shouting in amazement, "she is standing!" I took 4 steps back and she followed. Everyone was praising Jesus.
Another mother saw what happened and came with her daughter who could not even sit up and her back was completely loosed and she was healed ( I was freaked out because mother told me her back was broken! ) She stood up for the first time in years! I have been doing outreaches in Mozambique in many places, BUT I HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED HUNGRY PEOPLE LIKE THE SUDANESS! I was so amazed by their hunger! I had two men guarding me as I was praying for the sick every one wanted prayer at the same time, they would grab my hand and put on their heads yelling pray for me. They started fighting between themselves, saying it's my turn. I had a microphone and I would say everyone will receive prayer please don't fight.
We had the meeting again on Saturday and many came and many were healed. We told them to come on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. to our little Children's Center where I was staying with our missionary who is here but they started coming at 7:00 a.m. patiently waiting for the service and prayer. Our lovely children and Marie (the missionary) sang some worship in Arabic and then I went up to preach, (you could just go on and on preaching and these people will take everything in and still want more) Just like they are living in desert place in the naturally it is the same in the Spirit. The Sudanese are thirsty for Jesus, only He can satisfy their thirst. He says, "I will make rivers flow in the desert!" This is what he is talking about. There hunger inspired me so much! I love the Sudan! I preached for thirty minutes and began to pray for the sick at 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Healing was flowing. I have never prayed for that many sick people in one day. Jesus is moving in the Sudan!
Almost every one that I prayed for was Moslems and I was able to lead them to Jesus before praying for healing. Thank you Jesus for what you are doing in Sudan! Also thank you for praying for me and this country. Pray for more to happened here, many Moslems to come to the kingdom of God.
Pray also for us to get Iris Ministries registered in Sudan.
Many blessings to you
Felito Utuie.
