THE BLIND SEE THE DEAF HEAR AND THE GOSPEL IS PREACHED
The gospel is preached in the bush! In a Village called 25 de Junho! we spent 3 days reaching out with Pastor Ben Peters from Chicago. His team is
just amazing, they are so hungry, and God is just wrecking them. I believe that most of them will never forget this days. We testify of His goodness and faithfulness, when we come to Him with hunger He is so ready to fill us to satisfy. When we got to the village the Leader (Chef of the village) introduced himself to me saying, we are all Moslems!!! I said that's fine, we just came to show the Jesus film, preach the Gospel and heal the sick! He said I will be here I want to see healing. I said to him you will see tonight! He said when I see can I get opportunity to say a word to my people I said yes. So we set everything up and showed the film. I went to the car and asked God a a word for this village. I wanted a key word for this Moslem village to open open the door for the gospel. The Chef said there has never been a church in that village since it existed, nobody ever preached the Gospel to them and everyone is Moslem. Many people were there by the time I went up to preach. All I can say is God gave me authority to preach to that village and as I spoke I could see the conviction in the hearts, they were connecting to the message, there was so much hunger. I said how many here recognize their need for a savior? Hands went up, about 800 people. I continued to speak and everyone interrupted my speaking saying with loud voices we want our sins to be forgive! We want Jesus! (they were so ready!) I led them to Christ with Loud voices they prayed the sinners prayer with their hands raised high.
I shared how God heals and the healings that I have seen. I shared how we stopped in a market on the way there and preached and healed the sick. I told them about an older lady who was blind for 2 years was completely healed. I said Jesus is visiting the village of 25 the Junho Metuge! I asked the people of that village and I said do you want to see Miracles tonight? They said yes so I called back problems to come and about 8 man and 4 ladies came so together with the team started to pray for the sick and they were all healed and exited giving testimonie. I called for deaf and a boy about 8 years old was brought by his brother and Jesus healed the boy! I gave the microphone to the chief of the village to say something, he took the microphone and said this is real! no man can do this things! God is with them! (remember the chief of the village is a Moslem Leader) He was convinced by the confirmation of the Word. I had mentioned that we preach the word and he confirms it. We represent heaven! we represent Jesus! He was deeply touched by what he saw, He asked the people if they saw and everyone said we saw the healings! As he was talking a man brought his daughter 7 years old, blind from birth and asked me to pray for her, I prayed for about 2 minutes and I moved my hands in front of her and she could see her father! He said, "Do you see me?" and she said "yes!" He was so excited because finally his daughter could see! She knew his voice but never saw his face and after 7 years Jesus gave her sight! ( I think this is amazing!!!) She turned and looked to the light she was in awe because she saw the light! Everything was dark to her because the spirit of blindness that had blinded her since her birth, she was happy to see and we all praised God! S
I was in the crowds praying for the sick so while we were celebrating this 7 year olds healing I heard my name being called on the microphone and someone saying there is a father who ran home to get his daughter who is blind! I went and I asked the father how long she has been blind? He said over 5 years, I asked her do you see anything and she said its completely dark. I asked her father do you believe that she will get healed? He said, "That's why I brought my daughter." I laid hands on her and said "Be healed in Jesus name!" I said "Open your eyes." Her eyese went big and she said "I can see!" I asked her to tell me how many fingers and she would just tell me the exact number. Her father said my daughter is 14 old and since she was 9 lost her sight and now she can see! That was his testimoney and he praised God in tears! We joined him and praised God for that healing.
There were many healings that took place and I felt the presence of God so strong in that village. He was kicking out the spirit of Islam drawing the village to himself. Hearts were touched by his presence. In all these wonderful things HE is doing I give him PRAISE AND GLORY AND HONOR! I n all of this wonderful things He is doing, I GIVE HIM PRAISE GLORY AND HONOR! Because it belongs to Him, its His. Father we thank you for you great love and your move and visit in this place. I thank also everyone who is praying for us as we GO!
